Overview
Bancroft is a major human services agency with over 2,900 team members, operating in NJ, PA, and DE. The Director of Organizational Development & Learning is responsible for driving initiatives that enhance leadership development, workforce training, and organizational effectiveness within an autism-focused behavioral health organization. This role plays a critical part in fostering a positive workplace culture, developing employee capabilities, and implementing learning strategies that support high-quality autism care. The Director will collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to ensure employees are well-equipped to provide compassionate, evidence-based support for individuals with autism and their families
Responsibilities
Organizational Development & Culture
Develop and implement strategies to strengthen company culture, employee engagement, and workforce retention.
Drive change management initiatives to support growth, transformation, and process improvements.
Use data-driven insights, employee feedback, and organizational assessments to inform development initiatives.
Learning & Development Programs
Design and implement training programs that enhance clinical, behavioral, and leadership competencies across all levels of the organization.
Oversee onboarding programs to ensure new employees receive a strong foundation in autism care, company values, and best practices.
Evaluate and implement learning technologies, e-learning platforms, and innovative training methods to enhance employee development.
Leadership & Talent Development
Establish leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of emerging leaders within the organization.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities to strengthen management capabilities.
Lead succession planning efforts to identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles.
Clinical & Behavioral Health Training
Partner with clinical leadership to develop specialized training for therapists, behavior technicians, and clinical staff on autism intervention strategies.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, certifications, and continuing education requirements for employees.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development to improve service delivery.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
Champion DEI initiatives to create an inclusive and supportive work environment.
Develop programs that promote cultural competency and neurodiversity awareness within the organization.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with HR, clinical teams, and senior leadership to align training and development initiatives with organizational goals.
Partner with external training providers, universities, and professional organizations to expand learning opportunities.
Communicate the impact of organizational development initiatives through reports and presentations to leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Behavioral Health, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
7 years of experience in organizational development, learning & development, or leadership development, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
3 years of experience managing a diverse Organizational Development & Learning team.
