C onstruction Superintendent that is deadline driven to oversee our construction project and to act as the link between various logistics with excellent communication skills and multi-tasking to ensure project is moving forward and deadlines are being met. The construction superintendent will lead and manage the on-site construction team and oversee all work on site. The construction superintendent will be responsible for orderliness on-site and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will ensure quality standards are met, and all equipment and materials are available on-site at all times. You will liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals and permits. This ideal superintendent will be the go between the clients needs and a balance with objections of overcoming challenges to support our laborers, carpenters, concrete finishers, heavy machine operators, and other staff.
To ensure success you should complete projects on time and within budget, and never compromise on quality and safety. Top candidates will be strong leaders, proactive, and perform well under pressure. This candidate should have a lot of experience with big scale commercial projects and a lot of moving parts while remaining professional and flexible. This vital position will include responsibility for site safety. Ensure the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors as well as manage compliance with established company safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the on-site construction team
- Coordinating and overseeing all work on site
- Attending production meetings and leadership meetings
- Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget, and ensuring adherence to these
- Ensuring quality standards are met
- Ensuring staffing needs are met
- Placing orders for materials, and is responsible for equipment and materials on site
- Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness
- Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs
- Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals
- Mentor and train field personnel and their duties and ensure all have resources and information to perform their tasks effectively and efficiently
- Work with the project team to maintain relationships with owners, visitors, subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage site work and logistics of construction site
- Provide feedback on processes and procedures, as the company truly believes in continuous development

Salary : $70,000 - $120,000
