Assistant Front of House Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Front of House Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise and train front-of-house staff, fostering a positive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the establishment.
• Manage the bar area, ensuring efficient service and adherence to responsible alcohol service policies.
• Help coordinate catering events, working closely with clients to meet their needs and expectations.
• Utilize POS systems for order management and ensure accurate transactions.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels or quick service fast food restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
• Experience in catering services is a plus.
• Proficient in using POS systems for efficient order processing.
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
