Treasury Management Specialist
Banesco USA is seeking a Treasury Management Specialist for our Treasury Management business unit.
Primary Job Duties
- Manages the entire Treasury Management client implementation process and maintenance, which includes preparing contracts and set up documents, scheduling and tracking implementation of new services, on-site and virtual training and follow-up, operational duties and account maintenance for International and Domestic clients.
- Assists with proposal discovery and preparation as needed.
- Responds to inquiries and provides technical assistance and customer service to internal and external clients regarding Treasury Management products and service and escalates issues in a timely manner for resolution.
- Assists with the monitoring, reporting and system updates of ACH/RDC exposure limits in accordance with internal credit approval documents.
- Responsible for reviewing daily Treasury Management reports detailing transactions and activities and taking the necessary actions in accordance with policies.
- Assists with gathering product usage information for month-end reporting and bi-weekly reporting.
- Participates in testing and evaluation of new products and upgrades for existing products.
- Reviews and updates account analysis billing for accuracy.
- Assists with the creation and timely maintenance of client user guides, instruction manuals and procedures for Treasury Management products and services.
- Coordinates and communicates system upgrades, enhancements or changes to all internal and external Treasury Management-related system users and internal front-line staff.
- Identifies cross-sell opportunities
- Serves as a back-up for the Treasury Management Officer
- Responsible for completing annual training program assigned
- Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Three (3) years of experience in Treasury Management
- Advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software utilized in various industries/segments.
- Strong understanding of SFTP and ACH NACHA rules
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
- Customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
- Ability to understand and comprehend instructions, procedures and policies ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently with the ability to make decisions according to established guidelines and accomplish tasks accurately and on a timely basis.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills in order to resolve problems with clearly identifies root cause and preset recommendations with minimal to no supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills, working with integrity and ethically, upholding the organizational values.
- Strong presentation skills to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to drive change to improve customer experience and enhance our bank.
