The Treasury Management Training Specialist is responsible for performing various functions within Treasury Management including, but not limited to, coordinating and facilitating CNB Treasury Management product training, testing client files, and coordinating and ensuring the connection of transmission and automation services. This role plays a key part in the sales onboarding process, connecting clients to the Bank's products and the Bank. The Specialist tailors training to clients' familiarity with treasury management tools, creating an exceptional onboarding experience and ensuring a smooth transition for client utilization. They conduct one-on-one and group sessions, fostering clear communication and participation. Additionally, the specialist is responsible for assisting and testing resolution of system issues and may contribute to creating and/or updating client-facing communications, testing and training materials.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure client privacy and security by adhering to policies and promptly reporting suspected fraud, disabling compromised access, and following up with the fraud department to resolve issues.
- Deliver one-on-one client training for Treasury Management products (i.e. ePartner, OfficeDeposit, Positive Pay, Lockbox, etc.) ensuring smooth product utilization and clear communication.
- Effectively engage audiences during virtual training, providing support, while ensuring clear communication, active participation and attendance throughout training.
- Create and update training materials and communications as needed.
- Monitors the Elevate Training cases, assigning tasks based on complexity and volume.
- Reviews case documentation for accurate product training and ensures all documentation, follow-up, actions and case status are maintained timely and current.
- Assist with system outages by reporting issues to vendors, troubleshooting and documenting incidents. Communicate outage updates and scheduled maintenance to clients, as necessary.
- Supports other team members in cross-training and collaborates with the supervisor to track their own individual goals and developments.
- Activates and ensures the correct configuration of products like Positive Pay, conducting quality control reviews to verify accuracy and system settings. Communicate activation to bankers and clients upon completion.
- Participate in departmental projects, assist with product testing and implementations, and collaborate with other departments for support.
- Identifies cross-selling opportunities and refers to Treasury Management Sales Officers as appropriate.
- Maintain knowledge of compliance, risk and banking regulations. Reads bank bulletins pertaining to changes in policy and procedures.
- Excellent organization, logistics, communication, follow-up and flexibility.
- Completes other duties as required and/or assigned by manager.
- 2-4 years Previous relevant experience facilitating Treasury Management client training and demonstrated proficiency with Treasury Management products.
- Working knowledge of Treasury Management products and systems required.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized and must have strong time-management skills.
- Understanding of treasury and cash management products, governing regulations, internal and audit policies and procedures.
- Strong math, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up.
- Strong technical skills to effectively inform clients about products and services.
- Demonstrate constant proficiency in their current role and performance (Internal applicants)
- Demonstrate leadership skills (i.e. initiative, autonomy, independent, resourceful and problem-solving skills)
- Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and strict timelines.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred
