TITLE: Guest Service - ACH Specialist
REPORTS TO: Guest Services ACH Team Lead
DEPARTMENT: Deposit Operations
Date: January 2025
Position Summary: The Guest Services ACH Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service for our ACH services and products.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email regarding ACH transactions such as non-posts, returned items, stop pays, etc.
- Process and verify daily incoming ACH non-posts, death notices, reclamations, ACH returns, NOCs, Guardian Analytics, ACH Manager, and any exception items.
- Process and verify WSUDs, External Transfers, PIM auto pays, and ACH stop pays on an as needed basis
- Gather ACH originator information from ODFIs and provide to customer
- Request Proof of Authorization from ODFIs and process returns as needed
- Provide support and training to Tellers and Customer Services Representatives at all Bank First locations
- Protects the Banks financial interests by complying with internal and external policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Follow procedures and share knowledge with others
- Identify process improvements for ACH related tasks
- Participate in training & educational events to stay current on ACH rules and regulations

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Associates degree in business or accounting and/or banking experience preferred.
- A thorough knowledge of bank products and services
- Proficient use of computers, spreadsheets and various database systems. Strong Word and Excel knowledge
- Knowledge or ability to learn applicable banking and/or regulatory policies and procedures
