Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the “Best Places to Work” in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking an Exceptions Services Manager to join our Exceptions Services team located in either our office in Rancho Cordova, California or our corporate office in Novato, California.
This position provides day-to-day oversight and coordination of all adjustments and exception items. Ensure all Day 2 transaction, adjustments, and exception items are researched and resolved timely and according to regulatory guidelines to prevent loss.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage, train, develop, schedule, counsel and evaluate all personnel within the Exception Services Department.
Direct workflow to ensure all Day 2 items, transactions, and processes are handled timely and according to guidelines and adherence to governing regulations to prevent loss, protect reputation, and provide exceptional customer service.
Ensure Exception Services functions and staff members are prepared for business resumption in the event of a disaster or test.
Track and report on departmental volumes. Prepare monthly report documenting departmental accomplishments, training, volumes, staffing volumes and notable events each month.
Create and maintain documented procedures for Exception processing and all related Day 2 functions within the department.
Provide support and backup for all Day 1 activities during critical and peak periods. Provide current policy and procedures.
Track and report volumes. Write monthly reports.
Conduct staff meetings.
Professional / Educational Experience:
3 - 5 year’s related work experience and/or training. Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.
The hiring pay range for this position is $74,793 to $106,285. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
