Job Summary:
The Treasury Management Officer III provides sales and service of non-credit Treasury Services business solutions to customers and prospects utilizing a consultative sales and relationship management approach.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Conducts business development and calling activity to existing clients and strategic prospects to increase book of business with little or no supervision
- Manages customer portfolios
- Supports Treasury Sales representatives with customers, prospecting, proposals, and referrals
- Refers and cross-sells non-Treasury Management services to other Bankers Trust divisions to strengthen client relationships and build wallet share
- Educates customers and prospects based on industry topics including fraud related topics and presents at lunch-and-learns, company Board meetings, etc. as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- BA/BS in business-related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 8 years of Treasury Services experience required
- Sales experience with consultative selling skills required
- Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) required or to be obtained within first 12 months of employment
- Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of banking and Business Services products and services
- Knowledge of banking deposit operations processing
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of bank regulations
Hiring Salary Range
The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $110,000 - $132,000
