PURPOSE:
The Customer Engagement Specialist (CES) embodies BankFive’s values of Human, Steadfast and Dynamic. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create a warm welcome for customers and guests by delivering exceptional service skills and engaging each client entering the corporate office.
- Direct clients to the appropriate area.
- Be a champion for change by assisting clients with alternative channels including ITM, mobile banking, on-line banking. This includes but is not limited to being well versed in all the bank’s technology. Utilizes and demonstrates usage of these alternate channels.
- Answer incoming calls and routing to the appropriate person.
- Receive and track incoming packages and mail. Notifies appropriate department/individual of receipt.
- Assists the retail operations team in data entry with preassigned projects before and after lobby hours and as time permits during the day.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of customer service experience
- Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Notary Public, preferred; must be able to acquire notary within three months of hire
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of customer service principles
EFFORT:
- Hand dexterity required to operate computer terminal and/or related equipment.
- Lifts books, ledgers, records, cash and coin bags, etc. up to 60 pounds.
