CNB is looking for an experienced, motivated, and client- and team-focused individual to join our team as an Account Specialist II, ON-SITE in our Hillsdale Office.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing duties in accounting and accounts payable; including reconciling accounts and bank statements, preparing various reports, data mining and assisting with annual audits.
DUTIES
- Reconciles various accounts between sub-ledger and General Ledger.
- Reviews General Ledger daily and identifies / corrects errors (non-posted items and other differences).
- Prepares Regulatory reports as well as data mining for ALM and other quarter end processes.
- Oversees Vendor Management program.
- Assists with month end accounting close process.
- Prepares and assists with various accounting projections, analyses and projects.
- Maintains cross-training with Accounting Specialist.
- Maintains cross-training with Senior Accountant, taking on more advanced responsibilities to balance workload distribution.
- Works closely with Senior Accountant on annual audits and budget.
- Maintains and protects confidentiality of customer information.
- Maintains regular, on-time attendance.
- Remains current in assigned training and continuing education for designation retention (online, video, in-house emails, telephone seminars, etc.)
- Complies with all regulatory requirements including Bank Secrecy Act and all others specific to their position.
- Performs other various duties as assigned.

Communicates on a regular basis with correspondent banks, third party software and service providers / vendors.
