Position Description
Banner Defense is in search of a talented Hardware Integration Engineer. The HW Integration Engineer is responsible for providing systems integration engineering support and expertise for weapon development, integration, prototype production, and testing.
Responsibilities
- Provide HW systems engineering and integration support.
- Review and define system requirements.
- Review and evaluate system technical specifications, designs, analyses, test plans/procedures, and technical data packages.
- Interface with other government organizations and development contractors to facilitate. preliminary concept exploration and candidate system design.
- Support development and testing of prototypes for upgrades to the weapon system to include fit checks and provide oversight to modification installations.
- Develop and present briefings and reports to government customers.
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- Minimum of 5 years supporting engineering for Army weapon systems
- Minimum of 5 years in systems engineering for major defense acquisition program office or OEM
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering and requirements analysis
- Weapon System development/integration experience
- Demonstrated experience with System Requirements and Design Reviews
- Familiarity in Launchers, Reload Operations, Missile System Characteristics, Command and Control
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Travel 25% of the time is required
