Primary Responsibilities :
Build positive and productive relationships with company vendor community
Issue and revise purchase orders, debit memos, promotional credits
Research and resolve credit and debit memos with vendor accounts
Maintain company systems by entering new items, vendors, pricing, promotions and sales items
Manage events inclusive of scheduling the vendors, demonstrations and warehouse locations, setting up promotions and analyzing sales from events to collect promotional dollars
Create sales promotions materials such as newsletters, monthly flyer and presentations for prospective customers
Support sales team by updating order guide, movement report and item specifications as needed
Perform other functions as assigned
Required Skills / Abilities :
Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
Strong orientation to timelines, deadlines and overall time management
People focused and able to shape positive vendor relationships
Typical purchasing-working with vendors to maintain inventory levels. Will also provide retail support to vendors to highlight their products with in-store demos and promotional events
Must Haves : BILINGUAL Spanish
Bachelor's Degree OR comparable experience in purchasing, supply chain or other applicable field
Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing or sales promotion experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Point of Sale systems
Experience with NetSuite
Retail grocery store experience
