Logistics Operations Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Banner Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to meet customer needs and optimize fleet performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Manage driver performance, providing coaching and feedback to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze fleet performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
Requirements
- A valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.
- At least 2 years of commercial vehicle driving experience with an acceptable MVR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Experience with logistics software and systems preferred.
