The Treasury Management Specialist I is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong business relationships with small business customers, focusing on promoting and supporting electronic banking products and services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Coordinate customer calls, demonstrations and product installations to aid in developing strong business relationships.
- Provide product demonstrations to small business customers/prospects.
- Perform customer relationship analysis to assist branch staff in determining specific product needs of the customer and the appropriate pricing.
- Prepare proposals/bids for business customers and respond to associated questions.
- Assist customers and bank personnel in completion of appropriate forms and agreements for electronic products and services.
- Onboard new Treasury Management customers and provide ongoing support of electronic products and services.
- Assist Bank personnel in identifying potential and/or existing customers who may benefit from electronic products and services.
- Develop and present training materials to educate customers and Bank personnel in electronic products and services.
- Assist with promotional events for electronic products and services.
- Represent the Bank in community activities including business, charitable, civic and social organizations.
- Assist Retail Sales Manager in executing sales strategies and in meeting goals.
- Process various forms and agreements, verify customer information and account ownership and perform check back to ensure established policies and procedures are followed.
- Utilize administrative modules to set up customers on various electronic products.
- Review, test, document and analyze new products, product updates and/or releases and make recommendations concerning new features or functionality.
- Maintain knowledge of Bank policies, procedures, electronic products and services and serve as a resource to other employees.
- Compile, process and monitor detailed, statistical reports from various systems.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and general safety and soundness guidelines and assist in ensuring compliance.
- Provide quality customer service for electronic products and services.
- Continually develop Retail Sales skills and serve as a backup to the Retail Sales Specialist as needed.
- Assume responsibility for special projects and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of one year of prior banking experience required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers at all levels.
- A positive and proactive approach to work, demonstrating enthusiasm, adaptability, and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful or adverse conditions.

- Proficient computer literacy, including comfort with Microsoft systems and Office Suite.
- Intermediate typing skills to meet the needs of this position.
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance coverage; additionally, the ability to drive occasionally in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
- The ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
