Position Overview
Lease Administrator is responsible for maintaining all aspects of commercial real estate lease agreements, including lease setup, tracking key dates, ensuring compliance with lease terms, processing rent payments, handling tenant communication, and coordinating with property management teams to resolve any lease-related issues, all while maintaining accurate records and reporting on tenant collections activity; essentially acting as the primary point of contact for tenant billing within the Commercial portfolio.
Lease Administrator Responsibilities :
Processing rent payments, managing security deposits, reconciling tenant accounts, and overseeing tenant improvement allowances as per lease terms.
Serving as the primary contact for tenant inquiries regarding lease terms, billing, and account issues, addressing concerns and resolving disputes.
Conduct regular lease audits to verify compliance with lease agreements and take corrective actions when necessary.
Generating weekly Aged Receivables reporting, to track collection activities.
Maintaining accurate lease data in Yardi, including critical dates, tenant information, and lease terms.
Collaborating with property management and finance to ensure smooth lease administration.
Processing annual CAM reconciliations, utilizing Yardi to generate tenant letters, annual reconciliation, etc.
Lease Administrator Tasks :
Verify and enter new leases utilizing Yardi
Perform annual CAM reconciliations
Generate and post late fees according to lease language
Post Commercial tenant rent payments
Conduct Lease audits to verify compliance with lease agreement.
Post rent charges and generate monthly tenant statements
