Summary
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at BAPKO Metal, Inc. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in managing the movement of materials within our facilities. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our operational efficiency and overall success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following:
- Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Receiving and staging material for processing in designated locations.
- Inspecting received shipments for accuracy and/or damaged materials.
- Transport materials to designated locations within the facility.
- Load material on trucks for shipment.
- Transfer heat number to material received.
- Write fab orders on material received.
- Inventory material on racks.
- Ensure the yard is clean and organized.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- GED/High School Diploma preferred.
- 1 years of experience in shop environment.
- Computer experience and the ability to learn new computer programs.
- Material rigging experience.
- Crane and/or forklift certified.
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, twist, reach, and move around for long periods of time.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
