Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of undergraduate study in the field of nursing
- Current RN license from the state of Missouri
- Demonstrates knowledge of the nursing process in administering resident care
- Utilizes assessment skills and techniques in determining resident needs
- Good communication and public relations skills
- Familiarity with the MO Dept of Health and Senior Services regulations regarding long-term care as it relates to the field of nursing
- Ability to exercise good judgement and problem solving skills
- Ability to relate to residents on a feeling level, to deal with emotional issues in a non-judgmental and consistent manner
- Sufficient documentation, typing and computer skills
- General understanding of the aging process and the changes associated with aging
