What are the responsibilities and job description for the Imaging Technology Professional position at Baptist Memorial?
Job Description: As an MRI Technologist at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
- Document procedures/treatments accurately to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain equipment and procedure/treatment rooms in a safe and efficient manner.
- Contribute to hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- At least 6 months experience in the specialty area with proficiency in MRI competencies.
- ARRT registration (R) and registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) are highly valued.
- BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire date.
