As the Director of Personal Care, you’ll lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional care to residents in a 23-bed personal care and a 23-bed personal care department. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while fostering a collaborative and compassionate environment for both staff and residents.
What You’ll Do:
- Management Responsibilities: Develops and monitors systems for residents' well-being (physical, social, and spiritual) in Personal Care and Memory Support areas, empowers staff to fulfill organizational mission, vision, and values, and manages daily operations, including regulatory, financial, and marketing performance measures.
- Performance Responsibilities: Addresses and resolves resident/family grievances, fosters a QAPI culture with a person-centered approach, operates within the budget, and collaborates with staff and residents to set and achieve Quality Improvement Goals in Personal Care and Memory Support.
- Compliance Responsibilities: Ensures timely and complete compliance with all licensure requirements according to Pennsylvania personal care licensure regulations and DHS regulatory compliance guide.
- Community/Resident Relations Responsibilities: Regularly meets with residents, families, and other parties to evaluate satisfaction, gather suggestions, and interpret policies. Directs marketing functions for Personal Care/Memory Support communities, monitors occupancy, and manages benevolent care commitments.
- Performance and Professionalism Responsibilities: Commits to maintaining an atmosphere that fosters high levels of performance, professionalism, and ethical behavior within the organization.
- Customer Service Responsibilities: Participates in an integrated work team, actively seeking and incorporating thoughts and ideas from residents, families, and staff to create a person-centered environment.
- Customer Service/Management Responsibilities: Ensures that all aspects of the community’s "Culture of Wellness" are provided to residents and staff, recognizing the significant impact on their quality of life.
Qualifications You Bring:
- Required Qualifications: Associate Degree and Current PA PCH license. Minimum of 5 years of experience in long-term care or assisted living/personal care management.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Health-Related Field with 4 years of experience.

Monday-Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm —perfect for balancing your career with life’s other joys!
