What You’ll Do:
- Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, and in accordance with current practice standards.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), meal services, and other care needs as required.
- Ensures restorative and rehabilitative care plans are performed and documented accurately.
- Performs IV therapy and assists with admissions and discharges.
- Assigns and directs nurse aides in providing resident care, maintaining a team-oriented approach.
- Documents information in nurses’ records, care plans, and flow sheets as per regulation.
- Ensures infection control practices and safety protocols are consistently followed.
- Demonstrates clinical competence in nursing procedures, including interpreting vital signs and administering medications.
- Communicates effectively with residents, families, and visitors, maintaining positive interpersonal relationships.
- Participates in quality improvement activities and maintains current knowledge of regulatory standards.

Qualifications You Bring:
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program; current LPN license required.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and geriatric resident needs preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to read, write, and document reports and procedures accurately.
- Team-oriented with flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Must hold a current Class C Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
