Position Overview
As a Food Runner, you are responsible for ensuring that each dish leaves the kitchen perfectly executed and is delivered with care and attentiveness. You are the bridge between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring that every plate is presented flawlessly and with a sense of hospitality that reflects our restaurant’s standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Flawless Food Delivery
- Deliver dishes from the kitchen to the guests with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Ensure that food is presented according to the chef’s exacting standards.
- Clearly and confidently describe dishes to guests when necessary.
- Communicate with the kitchen and servers to ensure proper timing of dish delivery.
- Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Always approach guests with a genuine, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Anticipate guest needs and be ready to assist with any requests.
- Be a key part of maintaining a warm and seamless dining experience.
- Communicate with guests in a friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging manner when presenting dishes.
- Act with urgency and awareness to ensure guests receive impeccable service.
- Attention to Detail & Teamwork
- Maintain knowledge of the full menu, including ingredients, modifications, and allergens.
- Ensure each dish is delivered promptly and at the proper temperature.
- Memorize and confidently describe menu items, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
- Keep an eye on tables to ensure dishes arrive at the right time and in the proper sequence.
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables, supporting the back servers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including expo and service stations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining or high-end restaurant.
- Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to move with grace and urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of French cuisine and fine dining service standards is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
