Customer Service Role in Banking
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in our Winter Harbor, ME branch. As the first point of contact for our customers, this role is critical to our success.
About the Job
In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with day-to-day financial needs, and building trusted relationships with individuals in the communities we serve.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying their financial needs and contribute toward the company's success by recommending additional products and services.
- Recognize and seize opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other exceptional services offered by the bank.
- Gain an understanding of the banking industry and begin to contribute toward meeting branch goals in various categories, including deposits and loans.
- Process transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- An interest and experience in customer service.
- A working knowledge of Windows.
- A high school diploma or better.
