About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. This is a part-time position, working 25 hours per week in our Winter Harbor, ME branch.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and play a critical role in their day-to-day financial needs. You will have the opportunity to build trusted relationships with individuals in the communities we serve and contribute to the success of the company by recommending additional products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying their financial needs and recommend additional products and services to contribute to the company's success.
- Recognize and seize opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other exceptional services offered by the bank.
- Gain an understanding of the banking industry and contribute toward meeting branch goals in various categories, including deposits and loans.
- Build trusting relationships with individuals in the communities we serve.
- Be an active participant in and advocate for community growth and prosperity.
- Process transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service, reach effective resolutions, and follow through with customers for all inquiries.
Requirements:
- An interest and experience in customer service.
- A working knowledge of Windows.
- High school or better education.
