Food Runner/Busser

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a hospitality setting and are passionate about delivering a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing dishes and utensils promptly.
• Help with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on helping guests have an enjoyable experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and restaurant operations is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
