Job Description
We are seeking an Inside Sales & Technical Support Specialist responsible for delivering and contributing to a superior customer experience. This position focuses on the accurate and timely development of quotes, entertaining sales orders, configuring products to meet customer demand, and providing sales reporting.
Key Accountabilities
The Inside Sales & Technical Support Specialist will:
- Provide support to customers (dealers and end-users) in the technical functions including:
- Troubleshooting assistance
- Application analysis
- Offer feedback to product engineering to improve product design and prototype testing through:
- Product improvement recommendations
- Inspection and analysis
This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Provide world-class technical coaching and support to dealer and OEM service organizations.
- Respond to customer service calls immediately or return calls within 5 minutes of message receipt.
- Resolve minor technical assistance requests within 4 hours of first contact.
- Address major technical problems through resolution or conversion within 48 hours of first contact.
- Utilize customer feedback and field experience to drive improvements
- Complete projects within specified time frames to support product design improvement and cost reduction.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in an Engineering-related field).
- Or a Bachelor's Degree with 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing of consumer goods.
- Or an Associate's Degree with 2–4 years of experience in an Engineering field.
- Or a High School Diploma with 5 years of experience in Inside Sales in a similar field.
Required Skills
- Associates or technical trade school education beyond high school.
- 5 years of experience in industrial equipment repair, troubleshooting, and customer service.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electric operational systems.
- Customer service liaison between customer and all departments.
