Job Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling
- Develop detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Ensure schedules are realistic and achievable, considering resource availability, capacity constraints, and external factors.
- Adjust production schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, production delays, or unforeseen issues.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare and present regular reports on production status, inventory levels, and performance to management.
Process Improvement
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, procurement) to align production plans with business goals.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, production managers, and other departments to address issues and ensure smooth production operations.
- Collaborate with production managers, operators, and supporting departments (procurement, quality control, logistics) to ensure the availability of raw materials, machinery, and labor.
- Communicate schedule changes, production progress, and any potential impacts to timelines to relevant teams.
- Ensure seamless handoffs between departments to minimize delays and prevent production bottlenecks.
Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving
- Identify and resolve issues that may impact production timelines, such as equipment breakdowns, supply shortages, or labor constraints.
- Proactively detect potential delays and implement solutions, adjusting schedules to minimize disruptions.
Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor the progress of production runs and ensure deadlines are met according to the established schedule.
- Track production performance and report any deviations, including delays, disruptions, or issues.
- Provide regular production status reports and updates to management.
Risk Management
- Assess risks related to production delays and material shortages, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Monitor potential disruptions in the supply chain and proactively address risks.
Skills & Qualifications
Skills:

- Knowledge of inventory management, production scheduling, and lean manufacturing principles.

Experience:
- 1–5 years of experience in production scheduling and/or manufacturing (preferred).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or scheduling software (preferred).
- MK25 experience (preferred).
Education:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree.
