Job Summary:

Essential Job and Department Specific Functions:

1. In collaboration with the clinic leadership, instructs, and monitors the work of nursing/support staff relative to assigned area.

2. In collaboration with the clinic leadership and Nursing Education, plans and structures the nursing/support personnel’s orientation program. Plans daily orientee assignments. Educates nursing/support personnel orientees concerning policies and procedures. Documents all observations and submits recommendations to clinic leadership.

3. Performs on-going assessment and provides input to clinic leadership regarding staff performance evaluations. 4. Assists Nursing Education in planning, presenting, evaluating and revising the staff development activities and policies and procedures.
