Sales Account Manager - Cabinets and Countertops
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for prospecting, identifying, and pursuing new business opportunities for manufactured and distribution of cabinets for Residential business by performing the following duties: Finalizes all tract pricing, including base price, built-ins, selectable and custom pricing options, freight, install and service.
- Attends frame walk to gather firsthand knowledge of changes to the cabinets and make necessary changes.
- Provides redline drawing to Engineering to make requested changes.
- Forwards revised drawings back to the builder for final approval.
- Track and coordinate model installs to insure the builders schedule is met.
- After models are installed, walk the models to make sure they are correct and there are no cabinet issues that will carry over into production.
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate company goals.
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
- Ability to analyze and direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
- Meets and exceeds assigned monthly quota for new business and product sales with persistent follow-up and bringing closure and commitment to sales contract.
- Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit business.
- Displays product using samples and emphasizes saleable features.
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.

Gathers all pertinent information for preparing proposals, correspondence, contracts and other materials necessary for each prospect/sale and complete all necessary database updates and sales reporting as required.
Represents company at trade association meetings to promote cabinets. - Deliver sales presentations to key clients.
- Meet with key clients, assisting Project Managers with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Liaison with Project Managers to transition account activities.
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
- Prepares reports of business transactions and maintains expense accounts.

Perform other duties assigned.
Clean DMV required.
Desired Incumbent to possess a four-year undergraduate degree plus a minimum of three years of outside sales experience. Experience is indicative of working with an account base to include commercial/retail business, tract developers, purchasing agents, design center personnel, site supervisors and home improvement retailers.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED OF THE POSITION:
1. Knowledge of Commercial and Construction Industry.
2. Ability to put together bids with correct base cabinets, options and misc. option as requested.
3. Ability to prepare presentation, deal and negotiates selling of company product.
4. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
5. Ability to work independently and continue to aggressively follow-up and bring closure to a sale.
6. Ability to schedule and control work projects.
7. Ability to forecast sales, formulates sales statistics, and set performance goals.
8. Ability to analyze and resolve work related problems.
9. Ability to perform administrative duties

Compensation: 65,000.00 - 150,000.00 Salary This position is commission eligible in addition to base salary and pays upon receipt of revenue for projects sold.
