What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Director position at Barbour Orthopaedics?
Duties :
- Oversees all treatment of patients in their office
- Responsible to thoroughly review and scrub the schedule to identify potential surgical candidates as well communicate information via email to the Practice Manager, Surgery Team, Area Manager, Dr Barbour, and Dr Linville.
- Serves as primary resource for newer or less experienced providers as needed
- Escalate to higher level staff as needed
- Oversees daily performance via metrics and ensures that clinical staff meet expectations and address staff issues as needed
- Escalate to higher level staff if not appropriately meeting set expectations
- Observe and review staff performance and work product (notes and treatment plans) ensuring adherence to BOSM standards.

Education Requirements :
Graduated from a master's program as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or NATA certified Athletic Trainer with Orthopaedic Physician Assistant certification
Must be certified as a physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or orthopaedic physician assistant.
