From classic cocktails like Sazeracs and Hurricanes to innovative creations inspired by Creole and Cajun flavors, we offer an authentic experience that transports our guests to the lively streets of the French Quarter.
Position Overview: As a bartender/server, you will be a key team member responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will showcase your passion for mixology by preparing and serving a diverse range of drinks with precision and flair. Your knowledge of New Orleans cocktails and ingredients will help us deliver an authentic taste of the Crescent City right here in Poughkeepsie.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure exceptional service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service guidelines to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our guests.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive work environment and contribute to the success of our bar team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender/server in a high-volume bar or restaurant, preferably with knowledge of New Orleans cocktails and cuisine.
- Exceptional knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including classic cocktails and mixology trends.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a fast-paced environment.
