We have an immediate need for a Medication Technician for the Barclay House of Augusta
Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:
· Assures Medication Management Program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to QSL Management standards and state regulations.
· Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed; Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
· Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
· Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
· Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
Job Requirements for a Resident Assistant
· Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
· High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
· Current Medication Technician issued by the state.
· CPR/First Aid, preferred.
· Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
· Experience working with older adults preferred.
