Key Responsibilities:
Line Cook:
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency, precision, and attention to detail
- Follow recipes, portioning, and plating standards set by the culinary leadership
- Assist with prep, station setup, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with team members to maintain efficient service flow
- Oversee kitchen operations and assist the Executive Chef with daily leadership
- Supervise, train, and mentor line cooks and prep staff
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet restaurant standards
- Contribute to menu development, inventory control, and ordering
- Uphold all food safety regulations and maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment
- Previous kitchen experience required; Italian or upscale casual cuisine experience a plus
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Reliability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
