What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jet Ski Tour Guide position at Barefoot Billy's Watersports?
We are a busy water sports company operating in Key West - 365 days a year! Looking for Jet Ski tour guides for our most popular activity - the Island Jet Ski Tour. We have been running this tour for over 25 years, so we know what we want - the best for our guests!
This is a full-time position that includes flexible hours and weekends. It is physically demanding both on and off the water. Guides must be willing and ready to assist customers of all skill levels in a professional manner. We need to keep everyone safe and still have fun.
We are looking for personable, energetic, and hard-working individuals to join our team of professional guides. Previous tour guide and/or watersports experience is a plus!
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting, under hot, humid, or wet conditions
- Knowledge of applicable safety precautions; ability to use equipment properly and safely
- Upon employment, all guides are required to complete Boater Safety Education and a Vessel Livery Course.
