Dog Bather/Grooming Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of pets while providing excellent customer service to pet owners. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Bathe and groom pets according to their specific needs and preferences.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of animals during bathing and grooming sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area, including equipment and supplies.
• Assist with drying, brushing, and combing pets after baths.
• Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.

Skills

• Experience in pet care or animal care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with pet grooming techniques and tools.
• Ability to handle various breeds of dogs safely, showcasing strong dog handling skills.
• Previous experience as a veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or in a kennel setting is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with pet owners.
• Knowledge of animal restraint techniques for safe handling during grooming sessions.
• A genuine passion for animals and their well-being.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.26 per hour
