Experience:
- Minimum one year of experience in pet bathing or grooming (preferred).
- Prior customer service experience in a pet care or hospitality environment.
- Availability for weekends, holidays, and flexible scheduling.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in safe animal handling, bathing techniques, and basic grooming tools.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and workspace maintenance.
- Ability to upsell services, provide accurate cost estimates, and meet sales goals.
- Competency in Microsoft platforms (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and Gingr software.
- Practical communication skills, including conflict resolution using the “Bad Words Better Replacements” philosophy.
- Commitment to teamwork, adaptability, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Fluency in English (bilingual skills encouraged).
Preferred Certifications:
- Certifications in pet first aid, grooming, or related fields are a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED recommended.

Key Responsibilities:
Bathing & Grooming Operations:
- Perform bathing, drying, and essential grooming services to Paw Commons’ standards, prioritizing pet safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace and ensure proper tool/equipment maintenance.
Client Engagement & Sales:
- Achieve sales goals by upselling lodging bath packages and grooming add-ons.
- Provide transparent cost estimates, tailored recommendations, and proactive rebooking.
Training & Team Support:
- Assist in training new hires on bathing workflows, safety protocols, and brand philosophy.
- Support peers through constructive feedback and role-modeling company values.
Facility & Administrative Duties:
- Clean and maintain grooming areas and front desk support during downtime.
- Document service details, track performance metrics, and report incidents promptly.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Communicate equipment needs, scheduling conflicts, or pet health concerns to management.
- Partner with front desk and pet care teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Commitment & Compensation:
- Full-Time: 32–40 hours/week (eligible for medical/dental/vision after 60 days; 401K/PTO after 1 year).
- Part-Time: Under 32 hours/week.

- Pay Range: $16-21/hour
