Tree Service Groundsman

Bark Tree and Land is currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Groundsman. As part of our team, you will support tree service jobs in the Evansville, IN area, ensuring quality and safety in all operations. Our company values clear communication, dependable practices, and delivering high-standard services to residents and homeowners. As a Groundsman, you will assist in tree care operations, with a focus on assisting our cutters with tasks like clean-ups, rigging, equipment handling, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in tree removal, trimming, and clean-up.
• Manage and operate ropes, knots, and rigging equipment.
• Support the tree cutter in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Utilize and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, ropes, and skid steers.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows company protocols.
• Work efficiently in various weather conditions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Groundsman or similar role.
• Proficiency with ropes, pulleys, knots, and rigging techniques.
• Knowledge of chainsaws, skid steers, and other relevant equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures in tree service operations.
• Must own a truck for transportation.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors.
• Team player that is able to follow instructions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,600.00 per week
