Position Overview:
As our Accounts Payable & Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to payables, purchasing and contracts, accounts receivable, payroll, rebates, truck and trailer registration and compliance, and inventory with direction from the property management team. You will utilize Yardi property management software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer phones and greet or direct calls and visitors to appropriate locations.
- Assist with forms, spreadsheets, and other similar tools
- Write and process work order requests or take a message and forward information
- Close work orders as requested
- Sort and open mail and handle with confidentiality
- Assist as requested with interoffice/deposit runs
- Break down bids
- Organize digital & physical information within invoices, files, etc.
- Maintain vehicle insurance and registration documents, keeping up with compliance and deadlines
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience with accounting functions,
- Ability to track inventory, tools and various project costs
- Teamwork, confidentiality, and time management skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. without restrictions
Compensation: $19-$20/hour
