What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at Barker Property Management & Commercial Real Estate?
Barker Property Management is seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to join a fun and energetic team as an Accounting Clerk. Job duties include but not limited to:
1. Data Entry and Record Keeping
- Accurately input financial transactions into accounting software or ledgers, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries.
- Maintain updated and error-free financial records.
2. Invoice Processing
- Review, validate, and process incoming invoices.
- Prepare outgoing invoices for customers or clients, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and terms.
3. Financial Reporting Assistance
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.
- Provide support by organizing and retrieving necessary financial records / builds cover sheets for each property each month.
Document Filing and Organization Responsibilities
1. Document Management
- Sort and organize all incoming physical and digital documents.
- Maintain filing systems (physical and digital) for easy access and retrieval.
2. Administrative Support
- Assist other departments by retrieving needed files or records promptly.
3. Process Improvement
- Regularly review filing and organizational systems to suggest improvements for efficiency.
Salary : $35,000 - $40,000
