BarkleyOKRP's Accounting & Finance team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing and a strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll by interfacing with ADP to insure our payrolls are run accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local payroll tax regulations.
- Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee data management.
- Generate payroll reports and assist with financial audits as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll law and regulations.
- Reconciles balance sheet payroll liabilities monthly.
- Ensure all employees enter time.
- Maintain and update vendor database by entering new vendor requests and managing vendor changes and ensuring vendors are set up with the correct tax classification.
