What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Lead position at BARKMAN HONEY, LLC?
Oversees and manages daily manufacturing operations and equipment maintenance, ensuring team members have the support they need to be successful.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
– You effectively engage and lead team members working on the packaging line. You create a positive, fun and encouraging environment.
– You troubleshoot machine issues as they arise by inspecting, operating, or testing equipment to diagnose malfunctions. You reference repair manuals or field resources as needed.
– You conduct and document preventive maintenance inspections on machinery, buildings, and systems.
– You perform and document sanitation tasks following the maintenance procedures of food contact equipment.
– You look for ways to improve and/or simplify the process.
– You use your mechanical aptitude to quickly troubleshoot and correct issues that may hinder production, or call the issue to the Manager or appropriate service team member’s attention to rectify the issue.
– You ensure that high-quality product is packed on a daily basis and that customers receive the correct product.
– You maintain quality records accurately, consistently conduct quality inspections, and notify your coach if something doesn’t look quite right.
