We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Model & Die Dental Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Model & Die Dental Technician, you will play a crucial role in fabricating dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring that they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances using various materials and techniques.
- Collaborate with dentists to understand patient needs and specifications for dental restorations.
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to design and create precise dental models.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with industry standards.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards of care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance fabrication processes.
- Assist in patient assessments when necessary, including taking vital signs and understanding dental terminology.
- Ensure a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a laboratory setting or dental office preferred.
- Knowledge of dental assisting practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD software for dental fabrication is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and patient assessment techniques.
- Proficiency in dental terminology to effectively communicate with the dental team.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
