Summary:
As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling a diverse range of member service calls in a prompt and courteous manner. You will address and resolve member inquiries and issues related to accounts, orders, payments, products, and services, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. This role includes actively cross-selling products and services to enhance member relationships. This is a high contact position that requires the ability to deal effectively with members by telephone, in writing and via Internet. This role involves managing approximately 25,000 incoming calls and over 35,000 transactions annually.
Job Requirements:
- At least one year’s experience in a customer service or call center role required.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Strong communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to handle high call volumes and multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union
- Proficiency in using computer applications and learning new software systems.
