Job Overview:
Identity & Access Management (IAM) solution Security Architect reports to the IAM director in a hands-on role focused on the security architecture in the IAM space supporting IAM program. The architect works directly with Lead Development, Engineering and Operational resources through collaboration and mentoring to shape the IAM capabilities for RWJBH.
The IAM Architect's role is a technical position which will support the development of security strategies and architecture vision as it relates to the organization's initiatives, specifically setting the direction for IAM architecture. The IAM Architect will work with other Architects and Service Owners to provide a consensus-based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and synchronized with the ever-changing business needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Associates Degree
- 5 years experience in an analyst, governance, or support role
Preferred:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in IT preferred (years of experience may be substituted for degree)
- 8 years of IAM experience in an analyst, governance, or support role, 3 of which in IAM Architecture. SailPoint and Service Now knowledge
Essential Functions:
- IAM Lifecycle Activities
o Research and design new IAM technologies.
o Develop IAM policies and procedures to ensure correct authentication and authorization for end-users and services.
o Work within the IAM systems to implement access automation processes.o Through collaboration with other teams, design secure authentication with Cloud technologies
o Participate in cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
o Implement IAM best practices and compliance standards.
o Write scripts for automation and maintenance tasks using Python, Java and/or Powershell.
o Design systems that include SQL databases.
o Develop automation by onboarding client Applications.
o Generate performance metrics and analyze data for SLA management.
o Perform IAM lifecycle activities in Microsoft Active Directory, AWS IAM, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Imprivata and other solutions.
o Multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Operations
o Provide assistance and support as needed to address incidents or issues identified within the organization.
o Assist Security Operations team with Service Requests and Trouble Tickets as requested by the Director.
o Work with the facilities, departments and other IT resources on issues related to Security.
o Provide assistance to the team as requested by Leadership.
- Continuing Education
o Learn new skills and concepts, update and refresh knowledge base through training, webinars and reading articles.
o Demonstrate willingness and ability to develop expertise in new technologies as needed
