Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in managing building maintenance and upkeep
- HVAC understanding/maintenance a plus
- Familiarity with security systems a plus
- Positive and helpful attitude
- Detail-orientated
- Good communication skills
- Good scheduling skills
Responsibilities
- Managing 1 or more employees responsible for facility maintenance.
- Managing contracts and contract performance of multiple contractors responsible for cleaning and maintaining the building.
- Keeping all operating certificates and other jurisdictional requirements up to date.
- Scheduling of and logging of all maintenance activities to the facility, grounds and auxiliary buildings.
- Communicating with upper management expected costs and other planning related information so they can make informed decisions.
- Communicating with other employees relevant information necessary to their use of the building.
- Managing the security infrastructure, including badge management, video review, camera maintenance, etc.
- Planning evacuations and other emergency preparations and communicating these clearly with employees.
