Experienced Project Manager with strong leadership skills needed and project facilitation experience with 3 years of experience. In this role, the PM will coordinate the efforts of the team supporting NIH Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, Montana. This individual will interface with CFFS employees and report back to Kelly Government Services PMO office and CFFS President and use oral and written communications skills to develop and maintain great working relationships with all stakeholders. This position is responsible for ensuring that all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost effective manner while maintaining the highest quality of performance.
Responsible for all deliverables, reports and tracking all associated with personnel packages delivered to the customer.
Project Management services include the overall management of the contract and key point of contact for Kelly Government Solutions.
Project Manager
- Train new contractor staff.
- Assist the Federal Task Leader with workload management activities.
- Continually seek efficiencies and implement processes and procedures to increase efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between the Procurement Technicians & Invoice Specialists, and the Purchasing Agents and Contract Specialists they support.
- Assist with development and maintenance of SOPs for internal procedures by occupation.
- Serve as a backup to assist the Procurement Technicians and Invoice Specialists, as necessary.
- Assist with conducting monthly team meetings.
- Provide quality control for post award electronic simplified acquisition files.
- Manage the disposal of records in accordance with GSA and NIH records disposition schedule.
- Provide project management
- Manage specific compliance programs implementation as required, such as the Section889’s process, procedure and database. This includes working with vendors who find government procurement challenging to understand to guide them into understanding and acceptance of the policy.
- Provide support as needed for special projects as assigned.
- Advise and support AMOB management
- Develop, maintain, and update data and statistics for electronic acquisition files per staff member, team and organization in the simplified acquisitions teams (federal and contractor) for the branch management.
- Maintain up-to-date office correspondence and management records for the management.
- Update/maintain shared calendars.
- Provide operational support
- Assist in planning, setting up and facilitating events and meetings.
- Assist with managing the logistics of onboarding and offboarding staff in the Rocky Mountain Laboratory location.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and courses for AMOB staff at the direction of the Federal Task Leader.
- Assist with property management, tracking equipment and ensuring physical accountability for equipment within the branch.
- Provide support for yearly PY Funds requests for standardized data and quality control before sending to AOs.
- Oversee all supply needs and track what is needed for RML office; conducting market research and managing logistics on all inventory requests.
- Assist labs and AMOB staff with obtaining information on old orders to help inform current requests, and other like procurement matters as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of at least five (5) years of experience supporting acquisition operations.
- Well developed organizational skills.
- Experience in management of post award, non-inherently governmental functions within an acquisition environment.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
