Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Hos to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be key in maintaining our high standards of hospitality.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the seating chart and assign tables based on guest preferences and availability.
- Provide excellent guest services by answering questions about the menu and restaurant policies.
- Utilize the Toast POS system for reservations and to manage waitlists efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations or inquiries.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help both guests and team members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
