What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Assistant position at Barnes Kasson Hospital?
2 full time Nursing Assistant positions available: 7a-3p, 3p-11p, or 11p-7a. 12 hour shifts also available 7a-7p or 7p-7a.
No certification is needed, training will be provided.
Assumes direct patient care as assigned by RN or LPN.
Ambulating and repositioning
Assist with feeding
Change bed liner according to policy
Answers call bells
Gives bedpans, urinals, assists to commode
Takes vital signs, weights, and heights
Carries out special orders or treatments as directed by the RN or LPN.
Observes and reports patients condition to RN or LPN.
Maintains patient unit and Med/Surg department in neat, orderly manner.
Participates in patient care planning.
Responsible for creating an environment in which all nursing employees can work together harmoniously and with coordinated efforts in which each has an opportunity for self expression, for creating a sense of accomplishment, and for personal growth.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
