Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize the list of available drivers and the current available driving hours report to plan loads to be dispatched using the load planner spread sheet
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Promptly and professionally respond to all inquiries and directives from customer representatives
- Efficiently plan and schedule back haul routes to maximize utilization of resources and minimize empty miles
- Collaborate with our sales and operations teams to ensure the best solutions are provided to customers in alignment with their transportation needs
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns with empathy and efficiency, aiming for the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Candidates need to be knowledgeable of transportation industry rules and regulations and adhere to local laws
- Flatbed and Drayage experience preferred
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Experience in the transportation industry
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently
- Possesses drive and initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Contribute to a positive work environment
