POSITION GOAL: This position promotes the use of educational technologies to support student achievement in the classroom. The Education Technology Integration Specialist provides leadership, district-wide staff development, and instructional support to all instructional and administrative staff. In addition, the Education Technology Integration Specialist may coordinate standardized assessments, data collection, and report dissemination. They collaborate with appropriate instructional and technical staff to support, manage, and optimize instructional software and network resources to support quality teaching and learning.
CORE/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Coordinate, support, and promote the integration of instructional technology.
- Provides assistance and training to instructional staff in the integration of technology to support student achievement. This includes planning and implementing professional development and workshop for individuals, small and large groups.
- Researches advancements in technology tools and resources to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with teachers on global citizenship and internet safety lessons.
- Assist teachers with research on various projects and lessons.
- Lead technology instruction in the classroom setting.
- Assist with data collection, organization, and dissemination.
- Assist with standardized assessment implementation.
- Assist teachers with research on various projects and lessons.
- Articulates appropriate instructional technology practices as described in technology standards for students and teachers.
- Collaborates in evaluating, selecting, and implementing instructional technology materials and software used in the classroom.
- Research emerging technologies and their integration and make recommendations to the Administration regarding their adoption and use.
- Use positive and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Vermont educator license. Additionally, the Educational Technology Specialist endorsement (code 3-42) is preferred. - At least 4 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Salary : $44,255 - $83,531
