Restaurant Bartender

Barrel & Vine is excited to announce the opening of our new Downtown Plainfield location, and we’re looking for highly motivated, experienced servers and bartenders to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!

Server Responsibilities:

• Engage with guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages
• Assess customers’ needs and make recommendations
• Present the menu and offer insight into food and beverage pairings
• Provide exceptional guest experiences by staying attentive and focused

Bartender Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers, mix and serve crafted cocktails, wine, and whiskey
• Assess customer preferences and make drink recommendations
• Check identification to confirm legal drinking age
• Maintain the bar, restocking and replenishing supplies as needed
• Comply with food and beverage regulations
• Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area

Skills & Qualifications:

• Servers: Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant setting
• Bartenders: Excellent drink-mixing, garnishing, and serving knowledge
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Bartenders: Computer literacy for processing orders

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.
